We developed DrumStar to meet the needs of students, musicians, record producers and music enthusiasts interested in drums, regardless of experience level. The Kit 1 is designed to learn, practice, perform and record drums with the same physical bodily motions used on a standard drum kit. DrumStar isn't aiming to be a replacement for a full size kit, it is just the best scaled down innovation of a standard drumset offered on the planet, today.


The 3000mAh Battery on a DrumStar Kit 1 lasts about 12 hours with consistent use. Our DrumStar Wireless Foot Pedals last about 20 hours each. So, once you play longer than we can power it, let us know and we can make some improvements!


The DrumStar Kit 1’s pads are coated with 3mm of silicone rubber with a medium to soft shore hardness, making them super quiet, but still giving some bounce to your sticks. We had not intended to make DrumStar silent, we just dont want you to bother anyone when youre wilding out. When comparing to competitor products such as acoustic drums, electronic drums and portable electronic drums, DrumStar's noise level is astronomically lower in dB, similar to AKAI MPC style beat pads.


All pads on the Kit 1 are removable and its stands are collapsable making it easy to travel with. Aside from that, our device weighs less than 6 pounds, and fits straight into a backpack or our carrying case.


The DrumStar Kit 1 is compatible with any recording software you would normally use for recording and connects to IOS, Android, Mac, PC and Linux operating systems with both wired and wireless connection. As of September 2024, DrumStar Corporation is preparing "DrumStar World" the application, a world of sounds, songs and lesson. Its dope.


Absolutely. In fact, learning how to play Drums on a DrumStar Kit has huge advantages in comparison to a typical drum set. To begin with, the Kit1 is a far more intimate and quiet experience compared to traditional set, getting rid of the worry of being too loud and bothering everyone around them. The KIT1 prides on its a velocity sensitive pads, so one can really explore the vast dynamic range and realistic performance capabilities. The body is very small, about the size of a laptop, and still give full drumming capabilities due to its multiple levels of height and scaled down pad positioning and foot pedals.

The only potential con is that, more complex rudiments requiring the bouncing of sticks, which typical drumheads provide arent done as well on a DrumStar. However this slight limitation won’t pose as a significant challenge for learning how to be a great drummer.


Yes, we developed it. It will be announced Mid 2025. And, so far, it is very cost effective to build. But we need time to continue to prototype and test. In conjunction with our application, DrumStar World, we will have a very cool ecosystem for electronic drums.
